What's your friend's phone number
Step 1: Ask your friend to think of any number
Step 2: Ask him to add the next number
Step 3: Ask him to add 9
Step 4: Ask him to divide with 2
Step 5: Ask him to subtract the orginal number
Step 6: Ask him to add his phone number and reveal the answer
Step 7: Subtract 5 and tell him his phone number
Secret: Always he gets 5 when he subtracts his orginal number.
Step 1: Let your friend’s number be 9
Step 2: 9 + 10 = 19
Step 3: 19 + 9 = 28
Step 4: 28 / 2 = 14
Step 5: 14 – 9 = 9
Step 6: 5 + 3007 = 3012
Step 7: 3012 – 5 = 3007 (Phone No. 3007)
Hence your friend’s phone number is 3007
  Algebraic Explanation:
  1. Let your friend’s orginal number be X
  2. X + X +1 = 2X + 1
  3. 2X 1 + 9 = 2X + 10
  4. 2X + 10) / 2 = X + 5
  5. X + 5 – X = 5
  6. 5 + 3007 = 3012
  7. 3012 – 5 = 3007
